Change an Unchangeable Home Page in Your Web Browser

You may have seen that while you change the Home Page of the Browser and reopen the browser, it shows the old home page. That means It's remain unchanged.

Cause: Some websites illegally modify your registry editor and set their website as default home page or when installing some software the Home page will change to their Web Site.

How to Change an Unchangeable Home Page in your web browser


For Firefox:-

1. Right-click on the FireFox icon on your desktop and select "Properties"
2.In the "Target" box you will see "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

3. Click on the end of the line then give a space and type the URL of the site you want to make your Home page, click OK.
Example: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

For Internet Explore:- 

1. If you have a special Internet Explorer Icon then delete that and create a shortcut of Internet Explorer (Start->Program->Right click on Internet Explorer->send to Desktop Create a shortcut)
