How To Display Your Google+ Profile Image In Google Search Results - Google Author information In Search Results

Google Author information in search results, that means if some body search a content in Google Search and if your blog or website has that content and showing in the search result then your Google+ profile image will appear with your blog/website.

So here is the way, how you can add your Google+ profile using rel="author" on your website/blog, Follow the below steps to add your Google author information and image in Google search results.


1) Create a link to your Google+ profile from your webpage, or add this to anywhere on your blog or if you have multiple author for your website/blog then add the Google+ profile author information each of your webpage, like this:

      <a href="[Your profile_url]?rel=author">Google+</a>

    Replace [Your profile_url] with the your Google+ profile URL, like this:

      <a href="https://plus.google.com/115648546533800265913?
       rel=author">Google+</a>

You must add the ?rel=author parameter. otherwise Google will not be able to associate your content with your Google+ profile.


2) 
  • Add the website or blog link to your Google + profile Go to this link http://plus.google.com/me/about/edit/co. You just add your web site's or blog's home page only, not all the pages you have on your website.

  • Click On Add custom Link, and then enter the website URL and Click on Save.

3) To check the Google author information for your website/blog page, go to the structured data testing tool , enter your website or web page then click on Preview. If  you are able to see your Google+ profile image and information, that means your settings are working fine and it will take some time to appear in the Google search results.
